Dear All,
is it mendtory that employee has to submit the rent agreement to employer for availing the HRA exemption. if yes plz let me know which rule or provision of which act/law talks about?

there is no such rule mentioned in ACT. It may be your Companie's internal policy. As per normal circumstances, we need to submit a scan/original copy of Rent receipt duly signed by Landloard on 1Re. revenue stamp, to the employer.
