Dear Friends,

Can two companies enter into rent agreement with the same party for exactly the same property?
From the view point of these companies having their registered office at the same property.

to be very specific, let me illustrate as below: there exists a leave and license agreement between M/s ABC Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. XYZ for a certain office premise since 2 years back. now another company M/s PQR Pvt. Ltd. wants to enter into a leave and license agreement with the same Mr. XYZ for exactly the same office premise. Can it do so?? The agreement has no clause of joint or co-ownership. (Both the companies have the same said premise as their registered office under the Companies Act.)

hi bhavini,

as per the facts i have understud from the given example,i think one cannot enter into an agreement ,as agreement itself says that there is no joint ownership
