22 May 2012MD has been appointed with NIL Remuneration. Now the company is keen to pay him Travelling allowances for offcial purpose and to attend board meeting. Will such payment come under Remuneration or not? How can the compny pay such sum withoput qualifying it as remuneration?

amount paid to whole time director (MD, Executive Director) by way of attending borad meeting shall be considered as remuneration paid to director
