Remuneration in us $ by cash

I am doing liaison work like arranging meetings with customer , rendering technical guidance etc. for Chinese company . This company wants to pay my remuneration in US $ by cash whenever their executive visits India . Whether can I take this in US $ by cash and what is the limit . How this cash in US $ can be converted to Indian Rupees and what taxes are required to be paid to Indian Government . Can anybody guide me
