Removal of auditor

Dear All,

I want to remove my auditor for FY 2016-17. in that case what is the procedure to remove/regination of auditor ? last year i had appointed him only for one year ie. for period 2015-16 but now we wish to remove him from next year onwards.. can anybody guide me with the procedure

Removal and resignation are two different things. For removal you have to follow procedure u/s 140 whereas for resignation procedure u/s 139(8) has to be followed.
