Removal of auditor?

a private company wants to remove auditor. Can the company give a
notice of less than 7 days for the required BM, as it is urgent business.

what is the process of the same?

how many days of notice should be given to auditor for opportunity of being heard? can it be a written communication ?.

expecting a prompt reply..

7 days notice should be sent to the auditor
yes written communication will be applicable
Read Section 115, 140 and Rules 23 of Companies (Management And Adminstration Rules ) as amended ,Your doubt will clear ,For Calling Board meeting at shorter notice ,It's recommended to follow provision of companies act ,read with AOA and SS-1 .

Auditor has to be given reasonable opportunity of being heard.

And need to have approval of Central Government
