My friend from australiay want to tranfer money to india.
Can he directly gift the amount to his father who is living in india or any other way for tranfer of monery form australiay to india.
Please guide us.
as the income is already taxable in australia , it will not be taxable in india.
to transfer money if u have NRI account in australia as par as i know there will be no charges( in case of ICICI bank).
u can use western union ( it is expensive), wire tranfer ( fast), remit to india( time group service cheap n easy) options if u dont have NRI Account in Australia
