Relief u/s 89 & requirement of form 10 e

One of my client is a employee in life insurance coporation of india Ltd. He received arrear salary for F.Y. 12-13, 13-14 & 14-15. He provide me From 16. In form 16 total computation is there with  relief u/s 89. As per section 89 form 10e is required to submit to Assessing office. Now my quiestion is that , should i submit form 10 E or it is responsibility of LIC (Employer).

It's a responsibility of Employee. Employee must submit Form 10E before filing your income tax return. In case you have submitted your return and not filed Form 10E, and you have claimed relief under section 89(1), most likely you will receive a notice from the tax department asking you to file Form 10E.:::::Form 10E can be filed online on www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
