I want to know why does the Institute issue Revision Test Papers just before each examination. Do the revision test papers contain the probable questions to be asked in the forthcoming exam?

Hi,
As you can note that RTP is prepareed by Board of Studies and exam papers are set up by Examination Dept, there are no common person in both the dept who can set the RTP and also Exam papers so it is very unlikely that questions asked in RTP will be repeated in Exam.
I think one can skip the reading of RTP and betterway revise the book which he/she is reading. This will add to the performance in exam.
hi Namita This is Rahul Cafinal student delhi. namita RTP are issued by the institute so that in the last 4 or 5 days, when student has go through all the course,he/she can gain confidence. Hope it will work for you
RTPs are published and issued before each examination of ICAI. So far as the exam situation is concerned, there are 10% approx. chances to ask the questions directly from RTP. It is better to make the revision through RTP if your course is completed in advance about 15 days of exams.
Do not skip totally refering the RTP because there are the cases where the direct questions of 10 to 20 marks are asked from it.
If you have limited time then go through only the noble questions.
