Rejected ITR-V

My client has send ITR-V without sign for F.Y.10-11 consequently the same has been rejected.

Can he now file that ITR again?

if you have received the confirmation of rejection by e-mail from income tax department then only you have to file itr again.

my client has received the e-mail for confirmation of rejection in August2011, around 15 days after filling the ITR, so now can he file his return again in response of such an older mail?

He should have filed at that time only, I guess rejected ITRV makes the return invalid if not done under allowed days. Talk to the AO or the CPC office

Do not do anything now as the time for submission has already passed away. Now respond only when ITD issues the notice.

at the site when you login then efile column appear then click on efile after that click on rectification u/s 39 after this you will surely understood
