if a person having two business unit , one in Mumbai and other in himachal Pradesh , the taxable turnover is 500000and 1150000 respectively then it is required for registration in Mumbai state???

Yes separate gst registration required for different states.
Under GST, Registration is State wise.
Therefore, if you are registered in the state of Maharashtra, then you have to take a separate Registration in Himachal Pradesh.
