Registration Query

1. If I am getting Rental income from Lending out Property for residential purpose and earning 15 Lakhs pa.

2. Also in continuation if I am earning 15 lakhs pa as interest income.

In total I am earning 40 lakhs pa from the above two sources.

My query is that, is it message for me to register under GST in any way. As I am retired any these two are only my source of income.

Please help in case with above situation.

since rental income from renting of residential property for residential purpose is exempt from gst as per sec 11 & similarly for interest income is exempt from gst, your both income are not falls in gst scope ...so as pee sec 23(1) u r not required to registere in gst.
