Is Registration of Partnership Firms is compulsory in Maharashtra??...

Hi, In my opinion, Indian partnership Act 1932 no where states that registration of partnership is compulsory.
But in the Case of the State of Maharahstra Partnership Firms Registration Is Mandatory.
