registration of gstn.

I m a commission agent/dealer in agriculture products (onion,tomato,potato) which are exampt from tax. & im paying rent of my shop,office,& godown. i have to pay RCM for the above.
please explain me should i apply GSTN no?

Yes. You want registration Under GST...

The goods are exempted. But, Your commision not exempted its GST applicable.

After registration you ll be pay tax under RCM basis for above said Rent paid if they are Unregistered...!

ok. sir but as per sec 23. . Persons not liable for registration.

[1] The following persons shall not be liable to registration, namely:--

[a] any person engaged exclusively in the business of supplying goods or services or both that are not liable to tax or wholly exempt from tax under this Act or under the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act;.

this says ... my dealing product are totally exampt then why i have to register.. because of RCM.?
