Can a trust with mainly religious objects (supplimentary object bears a long rage of general public charity) get Sec 12A registration?
Can it get approval for registration of accepting 80G donations which provides tax exemption to donors?

Please ask to trust to show their 12A registration than you could know you will get exemption u/s 80G or not.

Yes , a trust can get it registered U/s 12A of the Income Tax Act and then after apply for the certificate of 80G from the CIT.

Yes , a trust can get it registered U/s 12A of the Income Tax Act and then it can apply for the certificate of 80G from the CIT. An application in form 10AA needs to be filed.
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
