we are having an owners association in our apartment but it is not registered. Now we want to register it as 'residents welfare association' under west bengal societies registration act. Can it be done. If not, what are the other options?

I think it is possible for you to register as society under the west bengal societies registration act 1961. Anyway I advise you to go thro the provisions of the act esp the section which deals with the kinds od societies which can be registered under that asct.
