Pl clarify whether an educational institution or a private nursing home need to register under GST.

Thanks for the feedback. Exemption entry SL no.16 a refers to service by educational institution. it dies not specify up to which level if education. The limit you have have referred is under entry 16 b which refers to services TO educational institution. So any educational institution should be exempt without any level
