ABC is a Delhi based importer having GST registration in Delhi. Now ABC wants to do custom clearance of an import shipment in Chennai. Does ABC needs to take GST registration in Chennai ?

And if, after custom clearance in Chennai, the Importer sells goods to his Customers in Chennai & Cochin , then is it ok to give Tax Invoice from his Delhi Office ? or he needs to take separate registration in Tamil Nadu State ?
