Gst registration rule for centralised registration.
We have a centralised registration under ST, and renrolled under GST for the both states we got provisional ID's for both but the branch provisional ID was cancelled by department. When i raised the same issue to CBEC, they told now the rules has been changed for registraion of branch offices, they need not to have a seperate registraion.
Any one come across like this situation. Is Dep reply is Vaild?
Yes Department is correct there is no need to register the same business branch you can add the another address in the Gst registeration .If you have different vertical then different registeration is required otherwise you can add another address to your main registeration
