My agricultural land in Haryana has been acquired by the government for a road construction project. I've been told that since the land is acquired by government, if you buy any property in India with this money, you will not be charged the registration and other govt fee. I am planning to buy a property in Indore and want to know if I will be charged for registration or not. Any special forms that I need to fill? Can anyone throw some light on this? Thanks a bunch.
