We have to shift very soon as our current unit leaks and our goods can't be exposed to rain.
Problem is we have just applied for Excise registration and PV is still pending. How to amend the registration to apply for second unit.
It is not taking the amendment, saying Physical Verification is still pending.
How to move ahead

You need not to amend the existing registration now.
You have to get new registration for new place. it is no needed for surrender of existing registration.
After getting new registration you have to get permission from AC to transfer the materials and transfer of account to new unit.
Finally you go for surrender of existing registration.

Still PV is pending in that case you can approach the department for modification or amend Registration. No need to surrender.
