Please guide me whether there is any specified procedures to be adopted for availing the Composition Scheme for Payment of Service Tax uner Works Contract Service.

Yes, option has to be filed before the Superintendent for each work conatract.

No prescribed format. Write to the superintendent saying that you opt to pay service tax under Works contracts Composition Rules . Also specify the works contract. The option cannot be withdrawn until completion of the works contract
