Regarding tds return

I dint quote section number in TDS challan and subsequently return is filed without it.Now is there any option to correct it and upload the updated file or should I revise the return? Please guide me.Thanks in advance.

normally if section is not quoted in challan then it is by default deposited u/s 192a or 192b. since you have already filed your tds return, i assume that you would have correctly mentioned tje section there. you should first check that if any default has been generated or not for that tds return. if no default then no need to revise tds return.

Thank you sir..but it should be made u/s 194A.no default has been intimated except for interest on late payment.today i have requested for form 16a.so will check section number in it n then seek your advice.i think under section column, not applicable is there.anyway will confirm dat n text you sir..thank you..
