Regarding st-1 process

875 views 1 replies

Hy friends....

I have one query regarding service tax ST-1. One of the our clients has to apply for Service Tax registration Number. But the process for ST-1 is alredy done in January,2011. (More than one year). Now as we are opening aces site with its ID, there is no any other record except ST-1. and not is written as follows:

"please produce hard copy and supporting documents within a week failing which your application will be rejected."

Now more than one has been passed. So what willbe the next step?

either I should withdraw it or sent documents back.

If answer is withdraw, please tell the further procedure.

Thanks in advance.

1) IF ST-1 HAS NOT BEEN SUBMITTED ONLINE:

YOU CAN USE THE SAME LOG-IN, AS IF THE APPLICATION IS BEING FILED NOW.

2) IF THE SUBMISSION OF ST-1 ONLINE IS DONE PREVIOUSLY, THEN OPEN A FRESH USER ID, FILL THE ST-1 COMPLETELY AND THEN SUBMIT IT AGAIN. WITH THE NEWLY SUBMITTED ST-1, ATTACH THE SUPPORTINGS AND SUBMIT IT TO THE SERVICE TAX COMMISSIONER OFFICE.
