Regarding rent receipt submission

Experts help me here. 
From Nov 2015 I joined the new company.  From Nov 2015 to March 2016 I submitted the rent receipt for Tax exemption.  For previous rent i.e from April 2015 to Oct 2015 I have the rent receipt and my new employer is not considering them as I joined on Nov 2015 to them. 
So for these rent receipt where should I submit as proof to get HRA exemption ? 

Any help would be much appreciated.

While filling the return of income you can claim the HRA and claim the refund if any.....

So should I need to Income Tax department while filing returns ?  if so please can you point me to link or someting ?

If you have not submitted Rent Reciepts or New Employer not considered then don't worry.

You can considered by self at the time of calculating your tax computaion as HRA Exemption and claim refurnd for that.

 

I think the previous rent receipt vll needed in it last company form 16a
Kindly submit your previous company's earning details and investments to your new company HR team and it is their duty to mention the same in your form16. You shall have to take the details in a prescribed form from your past employer and submit to new employer. Alternarively you can go ahead with the above mentioned process by other experts.
