24 July 2009When i filling ITR 3 i have one doubt on claiming TDS deduction on Managerial remuneration in which place ? whether TDS deducted on Salary or Income ? because as per Income tax act, we are showing managerial remuneration income in Income from other sources. Pls suggest whether the tds claim should claim in TDS deducted on salary or income place?

if the person is not employee of co then income will be taxable u/h other income. in such case co issue tds certificate in form 16a hence it should be shown & claimed under other income head
