EXPERTS,

AFTER PRESIDENT APPROVAL ON GST AMENDMENT BILL CAN WE TAKE ITC ON FOOD AND BEVERAGES ??

No,... its clearly mention in Act

2) Save as otherwise provided, the provisions of this Act shall come into force on
such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint:
Provided that different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act and
any reference in any such provision to the commencement of this Act shall be construed as
a reference to the coming into force of that provision.

Applicability of Act will Be Notfied by the Govt by issuing a notification

AND

The ITC will be available in
1. Food & beverages
2.Health Services
3.Beauty Treatment
4.Outdoor cattering
Only if it is obligatory for an employer to provide his employee Under any LAW

Hence it not available to everyone.
