Regarding gst challan

Sir,

i have following GST Liability for the month of August 2018

1 -5 lakh for IGST

2- 20 Thousand for RCM Liability.

Than sir in that case will i make 2 challan .

1 is for IGST & Second is for RCM Liability

single challan is enough for the payment

System will auto calculate amnt to be paid wthr as normal tax or under RCM. Just fill ur 3B with complete details and aftr submitting return, click on generate challan

Mam can Rcm lability paid in cash . is it mandatory ????

Yes.. Tax to be paid in cash only in case of RCM.. u cant use ITC for such payment

Means my Rcm liability is 20k. so I will make separate challan for depositing cash in bank.For 5 lakh Gst I will make another challan for paid gst 5 lakh through net banking ????

Payment of RCM in cash doesn't mean u have to deposit in bank. It means RCM can not be set off through ITC. Like in case of GST payment, u can eithr pay tax through net banking or u can set off ur liability thru ITC. But in case of RCM, setting off thru ITC is not allowed. And only one challan is enuf for both the payments, no need for separate challans
