my cousin is a non resident ..staying in USA...
TDs have been deducted on her pan on sale of property located in India...
Now in order to claim Refund of TDS deducted ...she wants to file Income tax return ..for FY.2017-18..
If she files return now just for claiming tds deducted ....is there any mandatory to file returns regularly....?????

She can file return for F/Y 2017-18 as there was no need to file ITR of previous AY if she had no income received in india earlier to current previous year.

my question is whether she need to file return continuously...ife she fails to do so ...is there any changes of getting notices from department for failure of fling IT ..as she have filed only for one year to claim TDS

No need to file ITR after FY 2017-18, if no income receive by NRI in india after 31.03.2018
