Regarding depreciation

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a quiry regarding depreciation to be calculate.

 

Ex: We purchased an Aircooler for office use on 1/5/2017 (date of invoice) and installed on 20/05/2017 & started to sue on same day.

So, please clarify from when we need to consider the depreciation. (I.e date of purchase or date of installation.)

Please do the needful.
