Regarding change in GST rates for hotels

Hi,

As we all now know, GST for hotels has been changed to 5%. As the effect, tax should be now calculated as 5% of purchase amount and hotels are doing so. But the loop hole is, base prices for items has been increased by hotels so that the final payable amount is same as earlier. So is it going to be like this only or there are any further plans? Because the final effect is price hike for end customers.
