I heard it from few of my friends that a CA student is not allowed to pursue a CFA course. Is it true? Are there any such restrictions?

regarding indian CFA course conducted by icfai previously restriction is there but at present it is not there
but you can do CFA conducted by cfainstitue of usa

CFA & MBA is a nice combo. However, CFA from tripura is not recognised anywhere.

i have an engg background...will be doing mba next year...shall i enroll for cfa level1..plz suggest..

Agreed with Friends.
Now there is no restriction on Doing CFA with CA.
Also, CFA form US is better options. Check teh files section for details on CFA(US). Also visit the site>
