Can a person engaged exclusively in supply of NIL rated goods ( vegetables) is covered under provision of sec. 23(1)(a) ?
Pls justify ur answer.
Becoz according to me, wholly exempt supply includes Nil rated supply as well .

Yes he is liable to obtain registration. As nil rated means taxabale supply but chargeable at 0.

Exempt supplies includes nil rated supplies, supplies for which exemptions granted & non taxable supplies.
Thus supplier not liable for reg. if he is providing only nil rated supplies.
