We received refund of tax for the AY 2014-15 for Rs 5.5 Lacs, from IT department in favour of our company a/c with our earlier bank Indian Bank, Adambakkam, Chennai 88 on 15.11.2016.As the account was closed we send the cheque with counterfoil to Income tax Department Bangalore for re issue of cheque in favour of our company name account with our current Banker, State bank of India, Ambattur, Chennai with cancelled cheque of SBI on 17.11.2016.Again we sent reminder on 03.01.0217.So far the refund is not received.Kindly advise us how to proceed further to my mail id sashijagan @ yahoo.co.in
