Ref. Refund of S.Tax to the Exporter, Refund of S.tax is permissible on Port Services, however Pls clarify if S.tax on THC (Terminal Handling charges) & B/L documentation is refundable . If yes, pls provide the circular,notification etc..

It is presumed that your CHA is charging you terminal handling charges etc., If it is true, then you are eligible for refund of service tax paid to him under Notification No 41/2007-ST dated 06.10.2007(as amended).
