Have you received summary assessment u/s 143 (1) for these years?

Have you check tax refund status on tin-nsdl.com ?

No need to provide the bank statement unless the same has been specifically asked for in writing. The documents provided are sufficient for refund.

Hello Panneer,

There is no need to submit the bank statement the maximum you should do is submit a cancelled cheque for your Bank Account no and MICR code. Thats it....

Thanks & Regard

I think if nothing works out the aggrieved assessee can file an RTI application to AO. One of the CA monthly journals in 2/3 months contained an article on how to use RTI Act in such circumstances.

regards,

I am not sure about the formalities.  But what I personally feel is,  since you claim that you have not received refund orders for 4 successive years, normally it does not happen.  You may better verify your bank pass sheet as to whether any electronic / other credits have come to your account by way of IT REFUND and probably for this reason, they may be asking you to produce the pass sheet.  Hence, it is better to verify the official web site and your own bank account/s, which you have mentioned in the respective returns.
