Refund failure due to bank account mismatch .

For  AY 2017-18 , Refund  was granted  in August 2018.

After few days mail came that refund failed at CPC . Reason - one PAN NO (My Wife's) Refund given and second one will have to given after due procdure. Accordingly they attached a form and asked me to send it to CPC along with cancelled cheque and  proper ID.

I filled the form and sent cancelled cheque to them along with xerox copy of PAN card.

After two months put greivance that refund has not come.

They replied there is demand instead of refund and go to e-filing and reject the demand.

I am not finding any request for demand in efiling.  

What is the solution for above.
