what is value addition in refund process?

Nothing but 0.5% p.m i.e 6% P.A interest will be given on Refund amount u/s 244A..

thanks for reply.. please tell me if we manufacturing exempt good can be take input tax credit on purchase of raw material which is used to make a exempt good
