excess money deposited in electronic cash ledger .
how should I claim refund and In how many days I will receive money in my bank account.

To get back their excess tax money, businesses will be required to log on to GSTN portal by using their GSTN registered numbers and then they can apply for returning of the excess money. The money will automatically be credited to the concerned bank account.

File Form GST RFD 01A (electronically) and submit with authorities with all relevant papers (manually) as to why excess balance is there in e-cash ledger.

Refund will be granted within 60 days from date of acceptance of claim by officer.
