i dont think that it is a case of rectification just because a/c no. on your cheque is wrong. there is a mechanism in banks where you give a declaration that details on cheque are printed or written incorrect and that you are the rightful owner of the cheque. you shall be liable to indemnify any loss in future due to wrong declaration. after giving such declaration the cheque will be credited in your account.
