Can any one provide me accounting treatment i.e journal of reduction of share capital.?

ok, Thank you Sir. Suppose, XYZ has Paid Up Capital Rs. 10 Lakhs and Reserve and Surplus has negative balance i. e Rs. (5,00,000) .

1.Can we reduced Capital through written off accumulated loss ?

2. Is any effect shown in assets side of Balance Sheet.
