Hi Firends, I require a clairification regarding Rectification under Sec 154 of Income tax act. One of my friend got an intimation under Sec 143(1) of Income Tax Act. Demand is requested because there is a mismatch of Form 26AS filed by deductor and Form 16 issued. Now the tax payer has uploaded TDS deducted as per Form 16 and the issue is now settled. Now the question is when my friend tried filing Rectification Request Online below options appeared.
1. Tax payer is correcting data for tax credit mismatch only
2.No further data correction required reprocess the case.
Which option to be selected?
