Recommend books for ipcc

IPCC 1102 views 13 replies

I am in 3rd year of my B.Com (Hons) course. I am planning to give both groups of IPCC in November, '14. I would be very thankful if someone could help me in chosing the books to study. I like to read everything in detail and I won't be taking any coaching so I would prefer the books to be self-explanatory and student friendly. And if you have any tips on how to go about studying it would be really appreciated.

Thankyou.

Dear take parveen sharma books of accounts of both groups, in rest subjects I think practise manual are enough for practise, still for practise you can get previous year reliance compiler of 10 / 20 years questions covered.
Praveen Sharma book is best for Accounts both group. Munish Bhandari for Law. Girish Ahuja for Tax. PM for SM RTP for every subject.

Refer this article Shraddha ...... its petty good & the author has given a very detailed analysis of different books

For auditing, refer CA.Vikas oswal Sir's book. Very beautifully explained with mnemonics, which helps to remember things easily
Only Tulsian (accounts) for self study Munish bandhari + modules for law Tax girish ahuja best Ashish kalra cost accounting and fin mgt. best IT dinesh madaan

Thankyou for such timely replies...all of your suggestions were very helpful. :)

Law -Munish bhandari Tax -Girish Ahuja(revise from practice manual) Accounts both - Parveen sharma Audit- surbhi bansal Itsm - Ps rathore but u can refer dinesh madaan & practice manual as well (ur choice)
If you dont want to take any coaching classes then i prefer to say study material and questions and answers of praveen sharma sir for accounts, audit surbhi ma'm, costing from rajesh makkar sir ,taxation from girish ahuja sir , law from munish bhandari sir, for IT/SM i suggest study material only. I think these are sufficient to reserve pass marks and for detail knowledge study material and practice manual are the best materials for CA Students.

Hi.. i give the suggestion for ipcc exam.. Read the imcome tax for v.k.singhaya and sevice tax for the paduka..and ac for both group bm agarwal for more partice for more time.. cost and fm mate paduka is good. Law mate manish bhandari. For help in the exam for the case study..it&sm for partice manual. Audit for urvish shah Reason for good in the shot time for the exam for revison.. good luck for exam.. first attempt clear of the ippc exam for own study without coaching taken Best luck Sunny shah..ask for any qureyyy
For accounts I recommend u to take coaching or videos of parveen sharma sir. Law- munish bhandari Cost and fm- ashish kalra sir's notes are well available For tax, go for ajay jain sir's notes anytime! Audit-surbhi bansal It and sm- dinesh madan And remember, u must take the updated course books for all subjects since syllabus will be a little different for nov14 from prior attempts. Good luck
I would recommend u to go through study material provided by ICAI..
just read material of ur choice twice... n thn for all theory subjects after reading material just follow practice manual blindly... not even one question will be out of practice manual... u can compare it with question paper and practice manual of any year
