Received bill from vendor after Mar 19 GST return

We filed GSTR 3B for the month of March 2019. Now we have got an Invoice, which date of invoice is in the month of March 2019. My question is that can we the book invoice in the month of April 2019 and avail the ITC in the month of April 2019 GST Return?

you should book invoice in the month of march 19. and take itc in april 19 return

No ... the invoice should book in 2018 -19 in March , & the credit for same can be avail in April 19 3b

You book the invoice in March 19 & Carry forward the ITC to April 19 then claim the ITC in April 19 GSTR 3B return.

That Expenses are relating to march month, so it is advised to book in march, ITC for that benefit can be taken in next month if GST 3B of march is filed
