Rebate U/s ,80c

Sir I want to know that can I eligible to take the rebate under section ,80c on investment in Sukanya yojana in the account of of my. grand daughter. Sir I am grandfather of children.

Yes Sukanya Yojana is eligible for deduction u/s 80V

Sir you can do so only if you are a natural or legal guardian of the child...

if not, thn you can not claim

If you are legal guardian then you can claim deduction under section 80C of Sukanya Yojana scheme

If you ( Grandfather ) are the legal guardian of your grand daughter, then only you can claim Deduction U/s 80C of Chapter VIA of the Income Tax Act 1961 upto Rs. 1.5 lakhs on account of "Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme" , otherwise not.
