income is 280000 but rebate is not available, why?

Check your tab for 'residential' for status and 'individual' as person.......

You have to first fill the General Information properly ......... based on that the utility operates ..

& If you are using Excel utility..... you have to press 'Calculate tax' button for any such changes made !!!

before filling it shows various options to select..... whts tht?

If your validation is OK....... then the said options are for selecting 'mode of verifying' the return.

Select any one which you wish....... (though you have option to change the mode, afterwards)

1) In the ITR 3, person who received income under 194J, 194H, 194 D. have to clubbed with his business income ....or there is separate column for this income in the ITR 3 ?

2) some transaction are online, so can he shown tht income in the cash mode income ?

1. Yes. It can be clubbed together.

2. No. Online payment/receipt is cashless transaction.

For all other ITR related defects...... use latest upgraded version of ITR utility released on 07/07/2018 by CBDT. Old version ITRs will not be uploaded now.
