RCom launches GSM services in Delhi

On a path to roll out is GSM network pan-India Reliance Communications (RCom) today launched its GSM services in the Delhi and NCR circle today.In a limited period offer, the company is offering a pre-paid GSM connection with a lifetime validity for Rs 49, which includes the cost of the SIM card. For a top-up of Rs 51, the consumer gets talktime worth Rs 5 free for 90 days.And till 31 March, 2009, the subscriber will get double value for the amount of top-up that he gets done. RCom has a CDMA subscriber base of 3.1 million in the Delhi circle and is targeting the target group of an average monthly spend of Rs 150-200 on mobile phone bills. The company will also offer bundled services in the coming months.
