hi I am govt contractor and I purchase goods like steel,cement etc from GST registered person but sand , bricks etc I purchase from unregistered person.
GST on works contract is 12% Earlier i can claim ITC for purchase from unregistered dealer through RCM and also from the ITC from registered dealer. Now RCM is suspended till 31.03.2017 .
Now my doubt is i have to pay GST 12% on work contract and also GST on goods purchased from the unregistered dealer???
please clear this .

RCM is suspended upto 31/03/18 so you can't claim ITC for purchases from unregistered person

no need to pay for purchases from unregistered person but for the same you have to pay full tax on sale

now there will be no need to show purchase from unregistered dealer right or i have to pay GST on it also .i mean 12% + GST from unregistered person?
