I am a engineering lathe job worker what is the GST rate of taxe applicable to me. Please clarify it

12% Tax rate applicable to You if You take job works from principals or other customers...

12% precisely on registered taxable person.
raise invoice accordingly.

@ muthu all depends on your nature of services...
HSN code is nature of lathe work.
apparently 8458 is the correct one.

Wait on further reply from Querist about his service. Bcoz, Lathe is machine. May be many service available with lathe works...

Commonly it's under 18% bracket. Now it's under 12% brackets with different services...

Yes I searched for the HSN 8458 ,in that the rate is 18% only it's showing do any one know about the notification for change of rate from 18 to 12%

Don't be confusing...
8458 is HSN code. Hsn code using supply/sale of goods. Not for supply of services...
But, You asking query Job work. You are doing job work with Your Lathe Machine...

If I'll say it Tamil...

நீங்க ஒரு லேத் மிஷின் வைச்சு வேலை செஞ்சு குடுக்கறீங்க. அது என்ன வேலைனு சொன்னா தான் ஜி.எஸ்.டி ரேட் சொல்ல முடியும்...

HSN கோடு பொருள் விற்க தான். ஜாப் வொர்க்குக்கு SAC கோடு தான்...
