Plz help me.

i want to know the rate of depreciation to be charged on cycle as per sec 32.

Hi Ruchi,

Rate shall be as applicable to P&M- General i:e 15%

If it is put to use for less than 180 days during the PY then rate shall be 7.5%

15% - Full year

if less than 180 days then half of 15% i.e 7.5%

7.5%- HALF YEAR

Depreciation is to be charged @ 15% because for any assets the rate of which is not given in Sec 32.....a general rate of 15% is to be charged

the rare of depreciation of cycle u/s 32 is 15%
